Pete Olson is an American race car driver currently competing in Formula Renault in Mainland China.  A Maryland native who now resides in Taipei, Taiwan, Olson started his career on 500cc Super Bike motorcycles in 1998, where he took a 3rd place podium finish in his very first pro race.  Olson raced in the Jim Hall Karting Championship in Ventura Beach, California from 2001-2003, where he finished 4th in the Fall 2001 Sprint Race Series and Spring 2003 Shifter Race Series, 2nd in the Spring 2002 Sprint Race Series, and achieved "Champion" status in the Fall 2002 Sprint Race Series.  Olson began Formula Dodge RT/2000 competition in October 2003 and is competing this year in the China Formula Renault Championship Race Series, where he is poised to continue his rapid climb.
